As part of our series on the future of transportation, we’re looking at a few vehicles that might change the way you travel. XCOR Aerospace is engineering rockets aimed at taking passengers and payloads on trips shorter than an hour that soar up to 330,000 feet. The company plans to run test flights next year and launch commercial service within 12 months after that. XCOR provided the Guardian with this product rendering.
