Earlier this month, AMD announced a new dual-GPU aimed at VR developers -- now it's bringing that same chip to the HPC space. It's the first time AMD has launched a dual GPU for scientific computing and supercomputer deployments, but the chip's enormous single-precision performance is somewhat offset by technological limitations.
