Ford switches to better, costlier SCR emissions treatment for its next diesel

The new Ford Transit and Ford Transit Custom are the number 1 an
SCR technology pollutes less than LNT, but it's more complex and requires a diesel exhaust fluid additive -- none of which matters when an automaker switches off emissions control completely.
