American and Australian robots battle it out in the final football match of the RoboCup Challenge in Beijing. The University of Texas at Austin’s Austin Villa eventually defeated the University of New South Wales’ Runswift 7-3. The game turns out to be not quite as seamless as human football – with remaining upright, kicking the ball and tackling all proving somewhat problematic.
