Early tomorrow morning (Wednesday, October 8), a total lunar eclipse 'blood moon' will be visible from North America, East Asia, and some other countries that border the Pacific Ocean. Furthermore, if you're lucky enough to be on the east coast of the US, the blood moon will set on the western horizon at exactly the same time as the Sun rises in the east -- a weird quirk of celestial geometry that is technically impossible.
