The national broadband network’s second satellite has been blasted into space after being delayed by bad weather. The 6.4 tonne satellite, named Sky Muster II, will be in geostationary orbit 36,000km above Australia and provide internet services for up to 400,000 premises in remote areas. A European Ariane 5 rocket successfully launched the satellite from the spaceport in French Guiana
