The Snapdragon 835 was shown off this week and it's a potent improvement over the Snapdragon 820 / 821 in many respects, though not in all of them. Despite debuting a new custom architecture for the Snapdragon 820 family, Qualcomm is moving back towards using semi-custom ARM cores instead for this round of products.
